Upcoming Chapter Meetings
April 18, 2019 – Life After Graduation 101: Agency vs. In-House Public Relations
Our series of spring semester meetings will come to a close with insight from current Public Information Manager and alumna, Emily King Kinsey, from IACMI — The Institute for Composites. With experiences in both the agency and in-house public relations industries, Emily graduated with her Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also on the board of the local, PRSA Volunteer Chapter. Some members may remember her as their Public Relations: 270-course teaching assistant with Dr. Candace White.
Get real about what comes after graduation with free food! Our last meeting will also feature our 2019-2020 PRSSA Officer Elections!
Graduating members will also have the opportunity to pick up their PRSSA chords. Chords are $6 and to receive them at the meeting, the deadline to request them is April 12, 2019. Please email Loren Gilbert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Register Through: Sept. 20
This conference allows attendees to explore and master both the new and the traditional methods of public relations. The PRSSA International Conference in San Diego will spotlight the intersection of technology and media, and lead the competition by providing unparalleled information, strategies and tools for the news trends impacting the industry – essential to your professional success.
